Cisco 7861, Multiplatform This model of the Cisco IP Phone 7861 comes with multiplatform phone firmware installed, letting use Cisco’s phone with a third-party SIP platform. It is certified to support Broadsoft and Centile, and has been tested to be interoperable with Asterisk. This model also adds support for the Opus audio codec. Cisco 7861 is a 16-line VoIP phone designed for professionals who need excellent sound quality and the trusted reliability of a Cisco phone. The 3.5 display is backlit and makes operating the phone simple. The full-duplex speakerphone provides hands-free HD audio, and a dedicated RJ9 port lets you attach a headphone. Use EHS for a detachable headset solution. Cisco 7861 has dual Ethernet ports, and is a PoE Class 1 device for powering the phone through your network using a PoE injector or switch. 7861 has all the advanced network features that you expect from Cisco, including 802.1x authentication, TLS security, HTTPS provisioning, NAT transversal, and much more.
